Transition to School 2022
This presentation is intended for parents/guardians who have a child with special needs who will be starting school in September 2023.
The following topics will be presented during the session:
Rights and supports that your school must provide to meet the needs of your child;
Review of Identification, Placement and Review Committee (IPRC) & the Individual Education Plan (IEP);
Strategies to ensure a good transition between the child care program and the school;
Strategies to facilitate information sharing and effective communication with the school board.
