Pathfinder Kingmaker Character Builds #3 - Support Overview: Erastil Cleric Mercenary and Jubilost
Part 3 of our Character Builds series :D In this one we will be covering my support characters. These are the characters that allow the party to do better through various buffs and abilities.
Firstly we have an Erastil Cleric Mercenary (you could have used a companion cleric but I prefer these domains and the animal companion) focusing on buffing the party and debuffing the enemies while staying in the back shooting her bow.
Second we have mr. Jubilost which as an Alchemist is able to support the party with buffs, personal buffs through infusion (this is a big deal!) and very crippling disabling effects with his bombs which are not only disabling the opposition but also doing very respectable damage at the same time.
Do not underestimate the power of support characters. They may not have the damage numbers of your more offensive oriented characters, but without them I guarantee that the overall party performance will be worse.
Since this was for a Last Azlanti run in the highest difficulty, there is a strong emphasis on defensive and support spells but they are still quite capable of disabling the enemy and dishing out respectable damage.
Both the Cleric and Jubilost were leveled as pure classes.
