Trying unusual spinning wheels at the AGWSD Summer School
The Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers holds a week-long Summer School every other year and although I wasn't able to take a class I visited for the day. I got to try out a Pendulum Wheel and a Trolley Wheel — both unusual forms of spindle wheels, derivatives of the Great Wheel/Walking Wheel. I was also able to see the Certificate of Achievement submissions and have a look at what everyone had been up to during the week.
