Thank you so much for watching this video, I have been having a lot of fun with writing and poetry lately, and I have also been brushing up on my American Sign Language skills. I think its very important to be inclusive in all the ways we possibly can.
This poem is about authenticity. I hope you enjoy it :)
Authenticity
All the little parts of me.
I hide away, maybe I'm too quirky.
Gotta show them who I am, perfectly.
Which seems to bring out the worst in me.
Authenticity.
All the darkest parts of me.
I hide them away so forcefully,
but they are part of me.
So why not express them gracefully?
Authenticity.
All the brightest parts of me.
I hide them away, so no one can see.
Some take advantage of my empathy.
I put up boundaries,
that shit aint free.
Authenticity.
All the little parts of me.
The good, the bad, the in between.
Lifes best lesson,
