What's New in Android 8.0 Oreo - Android O official build on Pixel XL
Android 8.0 Oreo OTA update is available to Pixel XL, Pixel and more Nexus devices in the pipeline. Taking a quick look at some aesthetic changes such as settings menu overhaul, notifications, quick settings, as well as major new features such as Picture in Picture mode. All in all, Android 8.0 Oreo runs very smoothly on Pixel XL and battery life is phenomenal as always, but the app developers need to start catching up on the updates, e.g. you aren't able to swipe down to exit an Instagram story on Android O. You either have to quit the application altogether or use the app-switcher to bring it back to life.
