Logbook of the Cross-Curricular Project: Compost Production | Teachers Pro
This video presents a summary of the "Composting" Cross-Curricular Project, which we implemented at the school for fourth-semester students.
It outlines each of the steps we planned and implemented throughout the semester, covering them in each grading period.
All instructors who teach at least one course to fourth-semester students participated, across both technical specializations offered at the school, which is a dual-track program: programming and electronics.
We also demonstrate how the compost was made in teams of seven, showing their work processes and the integration of the organic waste they used in their composting.
Two videos are included to support students in downloading, installing, and using the Compost UMH composting calculator. Additionally, the video covers the assignment process for submitting evidence of participation and completion of each grading period's activities via Google Classroom. It explains step-by-step what each student and their team need to do. Evidence of this is also shown.
