Eleven month ago I published a video called "Become an Amazon Affiliate - Step by Step Instructions". This video got quite a bit of traction and I am happy to report that it helped quite a few people so sign up as Amazon associates.
However one of the very common questions was: How do I become an Amazon associate (affiliate) if I do not have a blog or a website.
Most of these questions came from people that have an active following on social media channels such as Youtube or Instagram and these are the platforms where they spend most of their time at, it's only natural that they do not have a website.
In March of 2017 Amazon quietly rolled out an extension of the Associates platform called Amazon Influencer Program. This program was not advertised and its beta version only targeted very high profile Youtubers and people with large following on Facebook.
In November of 2017 Amazon's Influencer program came out of Beta and became available to everyone. They also added support for 2 other platforms, Instagram and Twitter.
In this video I am demonstrating the sign up process to the Amazon Influencer Program.
I already had an active amazon associates account so my application was approved immediately . For the purpose of this video I decided to create a new Influencer account for my girlfriend using her Youtube channel.

I am happy to report that we successfully created the Influencer account as well as the Amazon influencer page.
Now the link to this page can be shared with all the fans and Amazon will payout a commission on all sales.
