"Always" (Original Song) - Matthew Jordan
This is one of my very favorite originals, and it'll be on my soon-to-be-released EP (in a fully produced version... this one's "unplugged").
The Alley is an underground rehearsal space in LA that's been home to thousands of world-famous musicians over its forty-year history. The walls are covered with the names and artwork of those who've played in the room, the vibe is remarkable and they have a beautiful baby grand piano... so I decided to film my new video there.
I want to thank the incredible Eliza James for coming by and playing violin. She did a great job. Additional violins were played by Stephan Hovsepian. I played all the other instruments: piano, bass, cajón and sang all the vocals. The lyrics are below. Hope you like it!
