Google Pixel 5 leaks, specifications and price before launch
#GooglePixel5 is in news again since the company's announcement about a new phone release on September 30, 2020.
Pixel fans are eagerly waiting for the word 'Pixel 5' from #Google's spokesman in a media announcement.
Some tech experts say that it could even be #Pixel4a 5G edition which is rumored to be released in the next Google event.
Speculations apart, the price and specifications of the allegedly Pixel 5 were leaked recently, and let's take a look at what they say.
According to the leaks, Google Pixel 5 5G edition comes with 6 inch OLED display with a punch-hole camera in front.
It will have a 2340x1080 resolution with 432 pixels per inch density.
The display is gonna be a 90Hz display and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 6.
Coming to the chipset, Google is gonna harbor SD 765G SoC clocked at 2.4GHz, paired with 8GB of RAM.
The new pixel device will have only one storage variant 128GB and has no expansion through an external memory card.
Looking at the optics, the phone features a dual rare camera setup, unlike Pixel 4a which has only one good camera.
The dual camera is a 12.2 MP primary sensor with OIS enabled with f/1.7 aperture and a 16MP wide-angle camera with a 107-degree field of view with f/2.2 aperture.
The front camera is still an 8MP lens with f/2.0 aperture fit inside the punch hole on the top left part of the screen.
#Pixel5 is expected to be IP68 certified for protection from water and dust.
As per the leaks, it comes with #5G enabled, WLAN, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Google is gonna sport Pixel 5 in a plastic body that may not look premium but longs laster. The leaks give away information that the weight of the device will be under 160gms despite the 4,080 mAh battery.
The price of the device is going to be EUR 629 that is 740 USD and 54,000 INR roughly. The pricing in India may change due to the imposed taxes. So don't fix to that price.
