Hey Everyone! I decided to go over the basic, simple question, what is whiskey...whisky? Well anyway, whiskey is a very in depth world to dive into. I am going over just the basic fundamental essence of what this alcoholic beverage is. In case you didn't see the video, Whiskey or whisky, depending on where you are in the world. Is a drink that is made of three simple things, water, yeast, and grains (barley, corn, rye, and wheat). But the process to make those three simple things into the complex drink that is whiskey is a long one. I am not going to be going through the entire process since that merits a video or series of its own. Whiskey can come from anywhere in the world but mainly four areas in the world where we see a large number of whiskey comes from: Scotland, Ireland, United States, and Japan. When I started drinking whiskey almost a year ago, this month, I had to deep dive and find out what is this drink and why has it become so popular among people and cocktail mixers 🍹
I hope that through this video, I am able to help you answer this question and if you end up trying any whiskey from this video, tell me about it in the comments down below, I'd love to hear it!
