This episode marks me venturing out into the life of graduate students apart from hosting top industry professionals.I had the pleasure of hosting Jefy Jean.A, who wears multiple hats of being a Master’s student, content creator and a technical blogger.
Jefy is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the esteemed Ivy League institution, Cornell University, with a specialization in renewable energy. Prior to this she worked in Coal India Limited for 2 years.
She has received the prestigious JN Tata Endowment for the Higher Education of Indians. She was a finalist of the coveted Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation Scholarship out of 3700+ applicants.
Apart from her academic pursuits she’s a content creator in Linkedin and a technical blogger having contributed 100+ blogs to various blogging platforms. She creates content around corrosion, NDT, Wastewater engineering etc.
Jefy was a part of India's maiden human space-flight mission, 'Gaganyaan,' through her final year project in the VSSC labs. She worked on developing suitable thermal seals for viewports of the Gaganyaan crew module.
