How the last inhabitants of an abandoned city of sanatoriums survive
This is the ghost town of Tskaltubo. In Soviet times, it was an all-Union health resort, where people from all over the country came. There are dozens of abandoned Stalinist sanatoriums here. The buildings still amaze with their beauty, grandeur and scale. Huge crystal chandeliers, worthy of palaces, are almost untouched by time. But now the once magnificent Soviet buildings are being captured by nature. The walls are crumbling, and unique artifacts worth millions are being carried away by looters. And what is most incredible is that people live in these abandoned and forgotten buildings! I decided to go 2000 km from home to explore all the sanatoriums, and most importantly, to talk to their last residents. How do people live in the city of abandoned sanatoriums of the USSR?
