Storefront Struggle is a 3D FPS shooter game developed in 2023 as a university project for ICT290. It is implemented using only C and Legacy OpenGL with Freeglut. There were no additional libraries or game engines used, this project was developed fully from the ground up as an extension to a lehacy codebase.

The game was implemented as an extentsion of a prescribed codebase which features a tour of Murdoch University's campus, titled "Shay's World". The aim of the assignment was to demonstrate skills extending and managing already-existing software codebases with legacy code that needed to be polished and fixed for production. This is demonstrated by the hub world at the beginning of the demo where the user steps into a portal from the 'hub' world which is based on Murdoch University.

After the user has gone through the portal, the game software we implemented as an extension to this hub starts up.

Game Synopsis:
It is closing time at a grocery store and you are tasked to remove all remaining customers from the store. Use any equipment found around the store to aid your quest in removing the aggressive customers.

This game was developed as part of the Computer Science and Games Technology course at Murdoch University.
