In this video, I walk through how to draw windows in plan while considering line weight. Then I go through making your window into a CAD block that can be used over and over PLUS how to make that block dynamic, meaning it can stretch and shrink to fit depending on the needed size of the window.

If you want a shortcut – my CAD template for Interior Designers has window blocks pre-loaded plus lots more blocks and relevant layers and styles already set up. https://shop.audreynoakes.com/product...

🙋‍♀️WHO AM I: I’m Audrey, and I’m an interior design teacher, working here in the UK but with students all around the world. I make videos on interior design software, the stuff that’s not really covered in school and the stuff that can make all the difference when you’re working on the industry. I also have a dedicated blog (https://audreynoakes.com/) and templates shops (https://shop.audreynoakes.com/ ) to help make the digital tasks of being an interior designer easier.
