The 411 on Meta Instagram Verification
Oh the “META VERIFICATION” drama Batman! 🦇
What a trip this has been so far! And so far… it’s been… not so fantastic!
💵I’ll admit, this does kind of feel like “paying for protection” a la mafia / cartel style, but I’m trying to keep any open mind.
I’m not completely for it, not completely against it, but rather, I am watching very closely as this all unfolds.
🔒Providing security to Instagram users should be of utmost importance (unpaid) in my opinion, but, here we are.
I do understand it’s a business but let’s be real, they make a lot of money through ad revenue already. 🤷♀️
👉But never mind what I think! What are your thoughts about the whole thing?
UPDATE (April 10th):
If you pay for the program you won’t be able to change your bio photo or name easily anymore. They restrict you from itz Also, users paying for the subscription, lose the ability to sort there notifications. Which really is, a pain when you’re trying to sort through all of the comments and reply to everyone.
