The Exhibitionists
Five members of the public from a non-art background who had never put on an art exhibition in their life were selected to compete against each other, for the chance to curate an art exhibition from the national collection at the National Museum of Wales.
They were given unprecedented access to all of the artworks in the collection including one of the finest impressionist collections in the world.
Each episode presented them with numerous tasks and challenges to test their curatorial ability. Judging them was a professional curator and art critic from outside the museum, who eliminated one exhibitionist each week. The winner curated a show that drew record numbers of visitors to the gallery.
