CIPS ANZ Webinar - How to maximise Indigenous Engagement in the Supply Chain
As part of NAIDOC week 2023, CIPS ANZ hosted a webinar and panel discussion focusing on how organisations can start the process to engage with Indigenous businesses and the key areas to address in order to ensure success for both the purchaser and the supplier.
We were joined by Courtney Paulsen, Project Coordinator – Social Procurement at the University of Sydney who share the process to develop and implement a social procurement policy across the university.
Deb Barwick, Founder & Chief Executive Officer NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) then shared her experience supporting Indigenous business owners and working with government and organisations to build, develop and grow the NSW Indigenous business sector.
This is an engaging and educational session for all procurement professionals throughout the ANZ region looking to increase diversity in their supply chain and engage with Indigenous businesses.
