Travelling Biak island in Papua
A short GoPro travel video of my visit to the islands of Biak and Supiori in Papua, 2016.
We travelled around most of the islands and went snorkelling throughout the whole journey wherever suitable and visited local villages. The southern side of Biak is most suitable for snorkelling in my opinion. And then you have the neighbouring islands which are also perfect for scuba diving and snorkelling. There are even uninhabited islands for those adventurous looking for a nice getaway.
There are numerous of places to stay throughout the islands, the guide books don't cover that much so just ask around in Kota Biak and they will help you out. Homestays are definitely possible everywhere or camping. There are a few guesthouses / hotels as well.
