Love is a verb — it’s not just a feeling, it’s an active choice.
Have you ever loved someone despite feeling annoyed or hurt? That's real love in action.
Drop a ❤️ if you’re ready to turn love into action and love deeply wherever you are.
Love without hypocrisy — that’s the starting point. Paul says in Romans 12, love must be sincere, genuine, not masked.
Love that wears no masks is tough — it calls us to be honest, even when the love is hard. Think about how often we hide behind smiles or masks while secretly harboring resentment or judgment. That’s hypocrisy.
But love is also a decision — a conscious act of kindness, especially when it’s inconvenient. Like blessing those who curse us, forgiving enemies, or loving our family in those moments when they test every ounce of patience. That’s love as a verb.
And it’s not easy. Loving your enemies or forgiving someone who hurt you — that’s divine. Yet, that’s exactly what Jesus modeled: love that bears the cross.
Are you willing to love deeply, actively, without masks? To love intentionally, even amid hostility?
Worth thinking about.
What’s one thing you’re willing to do today to show love in action?
