Let's talk about New Economic Policy 1991 with LPG Model from that P letter prefers to Privatisation. At the time of 1991 reforms Privatisation camed in existence which play very important role in our Indian Economy. Normally Privatisation means owner ship of public sector transfer to private sector with a bright motive growth of Indian Economy.
There were some Objectives of Privatisation which are as follow:-
1. Improve Financial Situation of Government.
2. Reduce Workload of Public Sector Companies.
3. Raise Funds from Disinvestment.
4. Provide Better Goods and Services to the Society.
5. Encouraging Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in India.
This are the Objectives of Privatisation.
Let's move with forms of Privatisation which are as follows:-
1. Denationalisation or Strategic Sale.
2. Partial Privatisation or Partial Sale.
3. Deficit Privatisation or Token Privatisation.
This are main forms of Privatisation which will helpful to you to make your knowledge better from today.
This are all forms which was made by Indian government at the time of New Economic Policy 1991. I think so it will sufficient basic knowledge about Privatisation.
