Releasing Fireflies | Jim's Basical Tutor Class Dev Clip
Here come the Owl City fireflies references.
(little do you guys know that I'll be hiding Owl City references left and right in the full game)
that aside, this is one of those fun items, releasing Fireflies out in the open like this will have them fly around that area and glow, creating a few light sources that allow the player to see easier, they don't do much.
Also you can let them go in buildings too, but I don't recommend it due to how cruel and unethical it is.
