A hospitalized elementary school student:
"I was so happy. I feel like I can go to my check-up with a cheerful heart."

Dr. Shigeki Nakajima, Department of Pediatrics, Shimane University School of Medicine:
"Their skills are, of course, excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them. (Doctors and clowns) have different roles, so I think their approaches (to children) are slightly different, but I want to absorb what I can."

Parent of a participating child:

Hospital clowns bring smiles to children battling illness. Their challenge continues.

Clown K from the Japan Hospital Clown Association:
"Whether it's a circus, an amusement park, or a hospital, we look forward to meeting everyone."
