Hello, my name is Michael Magerkurth and I'm a candidate sitting the exam for the 1169 API certification this coming this August. I've made the choice to take this certification based upon observations within industry, the needs, the trends, the growth within the industry. I currently carry and ASNT certification and, this, I believe strongly, will enhance my position as world need continues to grow. I have observed that there have been shortages, not only of ASNT or API inspectors, but, now, with the demand, specifically that this is implemented in 2018, I think it's going to be a perfect timing, a perfect synergy with all my other certifications. With all the other world events, for whatever reason, I know that this certification will bring it all together.
