The CalMyotis lavalier lapel microphone clip-on comes with a really nice carrying case. The case has Velcro for securing the mic. The inside of the case is extremely soft. The mic cable extends a total of 58 to 60 inches long, depending if you include the mic. The clip bends easily and tightly holds. The clip and filter can be removed and replaced with another clip if needed.
This device improves the standard smartphone sound quality. After testing the app (voice recording app) with the mic, the mic improves the sound quality of my recordings. It is not a significant increase, but it is an increase that could make a difference when recording. This is a quality product that should last a long time.
