The hammerhead void machine gun returns as part of the into the light brave arsenal weapon set. And it has some insane options for ammo efficiency routes or straight up damage. There is just one thing in the way though, the commemoration. This is essentially the same weapon in many ways, 450rpm void machine gun. Similar perk pool. They even both have an origin trait focused around ability regen.
So which of the two is better? Commemoration has the combination of reconstruction and killing tally on lockdown. Hammerhead has alternatives to this in either forth times the charm or envious assassin with killing tally. Almost there but not quite as potent.
But hammerhead has the option to slot in double damage perks; rampage in the 3rd column then a choice of desperate measures, onslaught, killing tally or surrounded in the fourth. These combinations is what makes the hammerhead stand out. Instead of looking for ways to maximise just killing tally instead you can look for ways to stack other damage options. Rampage and onslaught would be a great example of this each providing 30% and 33% damage boosts and can run simultaneously. And since these are multiplicative buffs you will end up with huge damage increases of 73%!
