I would buy an Alesis Samplepad Pro over a Roland SPD SX!
Hey friends! The Alesis Samplepad Pro is not without it's problems or limitations. However, as a portable mini kit, it's hard to beat! If you are someone who depends on fast reliable sampling, this is probably not for you. However, if you are a drummer looking for a portable option to play along live with backing tracks or a live band situation, this is a great and cheap option, especially when compared to the Roland SPD SX!
