Congressman Joe Heck's Staffer Attacks Woman
It this the way Congressman Joe Heck’s staff thinks is appropriate to treat a woman, community activist and Emmy award winning journalist? Viridiana Vidal, current state director of America’s Voice and former Telemundo reporter, was assaulted by a Heck staff member this morning at a Hispanics in Politics breakfast in Las Vegas as she was following the Congressman after the event.
She suffered a contusion and laceration to her leg during the attack.
The two videos (taken from Telemundo’s camera, as well as our camera, which Viri was holding) clearly show both the attack as well as her repeated requests to not be touched.
We thought Dr. Heck was “here to help us,” instead, he just drove away.
