Filmed last fall with my friend Graham while connecting with my roots in the Yukon Territory, Canada, where I was born and raised.
We paddled 600 km on a lesser traveled route during the height of the fall colours from the St. Elias Range down the Kluane, Donjek, White and Yukon Rivers through some remote wilderness to Dawson City.
Beyond the first day on the river, we didn't see another (human) soul until reaching Dawson, drinking in the freedom and natural beauty of places rarely seen by people.
It also happened to be the last few weeks of my twenties, so this journey, beyond being a spiritual recharge with the lands I grew up in, was very symbolic for me. The ending of an era and the dawn of a new chapter/decade of my life.
