Divers Exploring Radioactive Tunnels Under Chernobyl Reaction
In this video, I’m reacting to some divers exploring the flooded tunnels beneath the Chernobyl Reactor. These tunnels have been underwater since the 1986 nuclear disaster, and the water is still radioactive. With things like cesium-137 floating around, it’s definitely not something to mess with, even if the water offers some protection.
The divers are fully suited up and taking all the necessary precautions as they move through the old structures down there. While they’re professionals, it’s clear this isn’t the kind of dive anyone should casually attempt.
It’s fascinating to watch, but definitely something best left to the experts.
