FUZZ FACE SHOOTOUT
An unscientific iPhone comparison between (right to left) a ‘68 Ivor by Dustin Francis with bc-183L, ‘93-ish Dunlop reissue that’s been modded by Analogman with white dot NKT-275, and a late 80’s Crest Audio reissue with bc-109c transistors. For the demo, I used a Clapton “Blackie” Strat with ‘69 reissue pickups and DR Z MAZ 18 with short delay in the effects loop.
