Task scheduling optimizations in Mobile Application - Nian Sun
As multi-core CPU is widely used in Android mobile phones, multi-thread frameworks are seen everywhere to make better use of CPU resources. But in real scenarios the utilization is not always as expected, it could be affected by different scheduling behavior. This talk is going to introduce task scheduling customizations in Linux kernel by community, Google, and chip/phone vendors, then share our profiling, analysis and ways of optimizations for inefficient scheduling issues we observed in Android applications.
