#Synthember2024
#Synthember is a hashtag for an event month, that I created based on Cuckoo's #Jamuary. All videos in September will be tagged with this hashtag. Anyone who wants to jam can also use this hashtag. This is how we make the #Synthember better known.
My motto for this year's #Synthember is:
Make Music whenever you feel like it and you find the time.
This year I have come up with a plan that won't overwhelm me but will provide you with plenty of jams.
Monday is KORG day: Jams exclusively with KORG gear
Wednesday is Arturia day: Jam exclusively with ARTURIA gear
Friday is Mixed Up day: Everything else I have except KORG and Arturia gear
The jams will usually be between 8 and 15 minutes long. There may be exceptions because I can't hold back. Forgive me.
These rules are not set in stone but give me a guideline to follow.

Today is Friday, so Mixed Up Day (every gear I own, but no KORG and no ARTURIA)
My first intention for today was a single gear jam with the J-6. After a bit of experimenting, I had a beautiful sequence and, as is often the case, I was afraid of deleting it and then not being able to get it back. So I left it as it was and then added the Pro VS.
My first thought was the S-1 from the same series as the J-6, but I actually get on better with the Pro VS. For me, the interface is simply easier to use and, in contrast to the S-1, only less important functions are in a hidden menu that I can only access with a key combination.
In the end, I was still missing a beat. OK, the PO 33 is just perfect for a quick beat and since I wasn't allowed to use KORG...

Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad.
