About the presenter:
Conor King:
Conor King is Building Control Officer (Executive Engineer) in Louth County Council. He joined Louth County Council in 2018 as an Assistant Engineer in Operations and was promoted to Executive Engineer in Building Control in 2020.
Before employment with Louth County Council Conor working with in Construction sector in the UK and Ireland:
Ashville Construction Ltd, 2012 to 2014, mainly on commercial and office construction:
o Rush Bulb and Flowers Storage facility.
o Irish Military War Museum (Meath).
Graham, 2014 – 2019, on heavy civil engineering projects in the UK:
o Biomass Handling and Storage Terminal. (Liverpool dock).
o Energy from Waste (Gloucestershire Incinerator).
o Bulk earthworks road construction (A6 Antrim).
o New port Terminal (Tilbury 2).
Conor is a Civil Engineer graduating from Dundalk Institute of Technology with BSc Hons in 2012 and has completed the Certificate in Building Control Management from Carlow IT in 2021.
