About the presenter:
Bill Robinson is a Qualified Chartered Structural Engineer. Bill set up his own consultancy - Timber Design Services, after Enterprise Ireland whom he worked for in the 1980’s (formerly known as IIRs) withdrew from the provision of technical services. Currently, Bill is chairman of TC 008, NSAI’s main committee advising NSAI on standards. He is a member of Working Groups and Task Groups and is involved in various research projects. At present, Bill is assessing the second generation of Eurocodes produced by CEN TC 250 SC5; these are being reviewed by NSAI’s TC15 SC5 of which Malcolm Jacob is the convenor.
