player is a dummy sphere, a helper (which is the base of the rig) matchtranslates to this ball, being parent to 2 other helpers, cam_focus and cam_pos, while the cam tries to catch up with cam_pos all the time, looking at cam_focus. the actual 3d model in this rig is totally exchangeable and inherits merely the translation of the dummy sphere.
