Leica has done it again. Another new camera, another controversy. This time it's because it appears Leica has made a camera very similar to the Sony A7 series... and on paper it looks that way. The new Leica SL Typ 601 is a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable lens camera system, much like the very popular Sony A7 series. Yes there are definite similarities, but the price and who Leica is marketing this new 'professional' mirrorless camera to is not the same as the Sony. Like many, I was very surprised when they announced the camera, but I was also very surprised once I had the new SL in my hands.
