Birth Interventions Impact on Breastfeeding

Many people don’t realize that many birth interventions can have important impacts on breastfeeding success. Things like Pitocin, epidurals and IV fluids in labor can all dampen baby’s ability to breastfeed. The good news is that the effects of these interventions usually clear out within 6 weeks, and impacts can usually be even more quickly resolved with pediatric chiropractic care.
