Home-Office LIME-WASH | DIY Tutorial | Step by Step
I lime-washed our home office!!! 🥰✨
This took a couple of days but the results are so worth it!! 🥰🥰
Here are some of my lesson learns:
Don’t worry in the beginning if it looks too dark (it will lighten as it dries).
Don’t worry when it looks too busy/blotchy. The more coats you do, the more even the tone gets.
Careful not to do too many coats too. The paint will look too uniform and you will lose some of the limewash look.
Different paint consistency yields different shade. The thicker the lighter, the runnier, the darker. This will take a little trial and error to figure out what’s the perfect consistency and how much to put on your brush.
The darker paint shade your pick, the more potential contrast there is (light vs dark), so it will be a little trickier to have it looking more blended and less blotchy. If you pick a lighter shade than me, I think the whole limewash process will be even easier!
