I guarantee your boss will never let you know that he / she is spying on you. In this video I will tell you how your boss is allowed to spy on you without your knowledge or consent. Since the start of the lockdown there has been an increasing demand for remote surveillance software in the US as employees are working from home. The employers argument is that they need to maintain productivity but many employees think this technology is creepy and intrusive. Using an app like Hubstaff, your boss can remotely spy on you at any time during the work day.

In the United States it is still totally legal for your employer to secretly monitor you while working. There is no legislation in place to protect employees if employers misuse the data they collect from you. Your boss may end up finding out things about you like your religion or your sexual orientation and this could lead to discrimination. In Europe it is also legal but it is heavily regulated. Employers must be transparent with their workers or they will likely face a lawsuit.
