Flint Resident Tony Roy spent thousands of dollars to buy a house after he returned from incarceration.
"My first time ever being able to do it," he said. "I start moving stuff in, get my kids in there. I could start having them spend the night. They're mothers ain't paranoid because I ain't living house to house no more."
Then the home's owners returned from out of town and told him that the home had been sold to him fraudulently by someone who did not own it.
