Shakira's "tongue thing" happened during Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers game halftime at the Super Bowl LIV. Shakira later explained that the "tongue thing" wasn't just random tongue flicking/tongue wag but she was actually paying homage to her culture by doing "zaghrouta".
