In Dresden we have only 7 hours, but the task is to get around not only the old city, but also the new hipster areas. Knew that there such there is? But, about everything in order.
We arrived in Dresden on our favorite FlixBus and since it was early in the morning, of course I really wanted to eat. Where to eat in an unfamiliar city in fudkorte shopping centre. Just down the road we had a big shopping Mall Altmarkt Gallery. On the lowest floor there is a small area with cafes and restaurants. While standing and choosing where to eat, we were approached by a company of girls and in pure Russian asked about the store products and we caught ourselves thinking that around a lot of Russian-speaking people. Once again, we are convinced that our full everywhere and very often you can do without knowledge of foreign languages.
As a result, we chose an Asian cafe with noodles, chicken, rice, etc. the Cost of one dish turns out to be around 6 euros.
Tummies stuffed and you can go see Dresden. Despite the fact that the weather we were not lucky at all. It rained without stopping. Dresden, from the first steps made a tremendous impression. Beautiful architecture of the city center. You watch and just hang out. Incredible beauty of the Zwinger Palace, the walls of which can be absolutely free to climb and see the city. The Church, which was destroyed in the bombing and restored to a simply amazing structure. It is difficult to describe in words, but such beautiful architecture I probably have not seen. Apparently because of the weather, there were almost no people on the street and it was a pleasure to walk. You go up on the Balcony of Europe and in front of you, a completely different city on the other side of the Elbe. To be honest, I somehow imagined Elba differently. It doesn't even look like a river. Who knows, that such spills, understands about fix I. Have this rivers virtually there is no Bank in is understanding as we are accustomed to see. She's on a level with the ground. But the steepest view is when you cross to the other side of the Elbe. In front of you the whole old town as in the picture, especially at sunset, when everything lights up.
They crossed over to an area called Neustadt. At first, it looks like something Soviet. Especially at home. But going a little further, you just get into the epicenter of some hipster district. A lot of graffiti, a lot of small designer shops, cafes, bars, restaurants. Very picturesque place. But there is one particularly prominent yard in the area. You come in and you get like a gallery of modern art. On the walls of houses, different art objects, all painted in bright colors, author's shops and cafes. I want to sit down, drink a syringe and relax.
