It took me a while to decide to cover “Chronos”, but here we are, folks! It has finally been released after a rollercoaster ride of a few months of recording, mixing, and video editing!
First off, I want to thank Cepheid for making this song. Not only is it amazing to listen to, but it’s also one of the MOST relatable songs I’ve ever heard in my life. My personal situation has gotten really bad over these past few months, and I always felt like I was alone. I felt trapped in the darkness as time went along and, all I could do was to watch and mourn. During these months, I slowly realized how “Chronos” had really connected to my heart, and it is the reason why I wanted to sing out the emotions I had in this song.
So yes, thank you Cepheid for making this song, and I cannot wait for what more songs are awaiting to be released!
Anyways, the recording was pretty fun to do. At first, I wanted to do the screamo, but unfortunately, I could not do so. So, I chose to scream out the high notes, lol. And gosh, I never went this high without my voice going wonky! Possibly some improvement right there! Not to mention, the video editing took FOREVER to do, but it was really cool trying some effects and stuff!
