what do i do?
I play classic and traditional songs on acoustic guitar. No tracks, no loops, just me, my voice & my guitar. Then I teach people how to do the same.
who am i?
I am a singer/guitarist who has been teaching and performing in both Canada & the United States for more than 30 years. Along with writing two books on the guitar, the Acoustic Guitar Method and the Classical Guitar Method, I have worked with every level of musician from complete beginners to award winning artists. These artists have appeared on shows such as America’s Got Talent, the Ellen DeGeneres Show & American Idol. I have adjudicated countless festivals & continue to perform live on stages and television
my story
“I did my first appearance on the’ Dan Mclean Show’ singing Christmas songs in 1975 at 8 years old. I dabbled in guitar off and on, but then I decided this is what I want to do for a living. After getting a degree in Music Education from Western University, I began playing guitar and other instruments at every opportunity I could. Along the way I played in bands, duos, tribute shows and solo shows, both singing and playing instrumental. I have done over 2000 performances over the years in every situation possible, both good and bad”
