Like any of us, worms like a nice juicy watermelon on a hot day. There was some issues with this bin with too much water. I added shredded paper a few times to help with this as you can see in the video. This is very entertaining to watch the worms eat the watermelon as well as the shredded paper that is added.
Hope you enjoy this time lapse video. Worm composting is amazing and helps the environment out. Vermicomposting is a great valuable way to recycle the household waste. It's also a great way to make your own natural fertilizer for your garden or inside plants.
Some compost worms you can use are: Red wrigglers, tiger worms, and african night crawlers. If you give the worms plenty of food to compost you will have happy red wigglers which will multiply like crazy.
