The Weirdest Amoeba Ever!
This is a super interesting amoeba in real-time. It moves SO fast, I cannot get my head around it! What a stunning, complex single-celled organism, isn't it?!

I believe it is a Leptophrys, I found Leptophrys often but never seen this species before, it was much faster than the others I found. Can you see the extensions of its body that it sends out in every direction? Those are called filopodia, and it moves and hunts by using them. I cannot understand how it controls each of the filopodia, it blows my mind.
