I have been creating since I can remember. Clay gives me a feeling of being lost in time and space, it allows me to bring out deeply hidden thoughts. The structure, color and final shape remain a surprise until the furnace is opened..
For years I have been trying to find the best medium for expressing the changes that I have observed in myself and in the world. When I discovered the clay, its plasticity and roughness, its structure and melody under the fingers, I knew that it would be a complement, and perhaps the end of the search. I am fascinated by duality, the penetration of the masculine and feminine elements.
