Drops can help, and usually when the softened wax is washed out afterwards. Using ear drops alone isn’t an effective way to move impacted wax out of your ears. Wet earwax will cause more fullness. Ear drops + irrigation is the best combo. And yes, we wick away the remaining moisture after irrigation so there are no water bubbles sitting in the ear canal.
