🚨➡️ Ready to learn all my tips and tricks for better design patterns — and make creative designs for your own growing business?
Hey everyone, this is @se7eninfinitypixels and in today’s video, we’re going to learn how to create GIFs and videos for social media right inside Photoshop.

💡 Why this matters:
In 2025, GIFs and short motion graphics are the backbone of social media and web design.
And you don’t need to spend money on complex tools — just Photoshop and your creativity.
I’ll show you how to make an easy animated GIF using a simple image and text slide with a blinking effect.

🎬 Step 1: Preparing Layers
Once you’ve made your social media post, make sure every moving element — like product, logo, or text — is on a separate layer.
If all elements are on one layer, animation won’t work properly.
Now that your layers are ready, go to Window → Timeline to open the animation panel.

🌀 Step 2: Create the GIF Animation
You’ll see two options — Create Video Timeline or Create Frame Animation.
Since we want a GIF, click the middle dropdown and choose Frame Animation.
Now click the + icon below to add frames.

Show the product or text you want in your first frame, and hide all others.
Then, for each new frame, unhide the next layer and hide the previous one — continue this pattern so that each element blinks or appears in sequence.

⚙️ Step 3: Adjust Timing
Once all frames are ready, select all by holding Shift and clicking the first and last frame.
Now click the time below one frame and change it from 0 sec to 0.05 sec or any speed you like.
Press the Play icon — and you’ll see your GIF animation ready to go!

📤 Step 4: Export as GIF or MP4 Video
To export as GIF, go to File → Export → Save for Web (Legacy).
Choose GIF format from the top-right dropdown, select quality, and hit Save.
If you want an MP4 video, go to File → Export → Render Video, and choose your format and size.

Now your GIF or video is ready for posting on Instagram, Facebook, or anywhere else!
