This error often appears in Windows when installing games, and the installer can't detect msvcr100. After this, people start searching online for where to download and install MSVCR100.dll for Windows x64 or x86. However, you should understand that this isn't a program, and finding and downloading MSVCR100.dll won't solve your problem. For the installer to detect MSVCR100.dll and prevent this error from occurring, you need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 software package. This package contains the MSVCR100.dll file for Windows x64 or x86. This is the only way to troubleshoot and fix the msvcr100 error.
